What’s new in the world of publishing?  We’ve come a long way since the birth of the print scientific journal in 1665. There are more than 3000 new clinical trials registered each year.  Nearly 1,000,000 peer-reviewed articles were added to Medline in 2019.  That’s a lot of research for busy scientists to conduct, publish, and digest.  How are publishers evolving to meet the demands of today’s fast-paced, rapidly changing scientific landscape?  What new tools are available to help researchers publish their data, ensure that it’s robustly peer reviewed, and make sure it reaches the right audience?  And how can we make sure the final study results are comprehensible? Caroline Halford will present a whistle-stop tour of the latest developments.  What’s new? What is popular?
